Book Description
Foreword
I am glad to foreword this innovatively written book, ‘A Goal for Life.” Everyone should have an appropriate goal in his/her life and endeavor to achieve it. A person with no befitting goal whiles away the most precious life without achieving anything great. According Hindu scriptures, attaining self-realization is the highest goal and the very purpose of our lives. For most people, having self-realization as the sole aim of life may not be possible. Keeping this in view, the Hindu scriptures suggest a gradual approach by adapting four “Purusharhas” – “Dhrma, Artha, Kama and Mooksha.” Ishige to opeilchstem.
Setting a proper goal and striving to achieve it calls for many things. We can learn all these things effectively by taking Swami Vivekananda as the role model.
