Description
The Open Churches Trust, founded by Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, has endorsed the reissue of this unique children’s guide to church buildings. A fun introduction to its subject, with cartoons, diagrams and fact boxes throughout, it ties in with national curriculum Key Stage 2 recommendations that pupils visit places of worship. A useful teaching guide, it will bring the past to life for children by introducing not only the various aspects of church design, but also by showing how local churches embody the story of the nation and of the local community.
