Description
“In Circuit Riders on the Road to Glory, Dr. Greg Van Dussen, pastor and historian, guides readers on a journey into the history of the early Wesleyan faith as preached and believed by those who embraced the very difficult and demanding lifestyle of the circuit-riding preacher. Covering hundreds of miles on horseback and sometimes by foot, these early ministers traveled the wilderness to spread the gospel of transformation
brought about by a one-on-one relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. They believed that the Christian’s earthly journey engenders spiritual growth and that heartfelt worship offers a foretaste of the indescribable joy believers will experience in heaven.”
