Description
“This book collects 9 sermons by R.C. Sproul that were delivered over Holy Week. These are occasional sermons preached on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday and, as such, deal with the events immediately leading up to and including Christ’s crucifixion, resurrection, and ministry before His ascension. These sermons celebrate the wonder of Holy Week, in which Jesus encouraged His disciples; instituted the Lord’s Supper; underwent the humiliation of the betrayal of a friend and the brutality of the cross-yet also, the beginning of His exaltation: His burial in a rich man’s tomb followed by His glorious resurrection as the Son of God in power”–
